a rock solid is when you grip your grabholes and then let go and then grab them again and then land (hopefully) its pretty hard to explain videos show better

i think i found someone that likes deity :D ... but other from the grips (that im not a big fan of, i would have liked some black lock-on's with maby red lock-on rings more but its your bike right ;) ) it's a really good looking bike! props mate! :)

not really ... he is an awesome rider and trained hard to be the awesome rider that he is .. then when he got really good he got sponsored ...so not lucky, hard workin and well deserved. props to vanderham! 
the levers doesnt help you brake, maby just for feeling? thats my guess...and yes el-nombre you do brake like skis / snowboard ... and its alot of fun :)
